Saison Tropicale by Brewmaster of Craft Brewing, Co, Costa Rica.
Started batch on Jul 22, 2012:
Recipe:
6.0 lb Gold Malt Extract (Midwest Supplies)
1.5 lb Briess Wheat (dry)
2.0 oz hop pellets (Tettang, 3.7% alpha) 60 min
1.0 oz hop pellets - finishing (Saaz, 3.8% alpha) 10 min
1 tbs Irish Moss, last 15 min
Wyeast 2565 - Koelsch
1 pkg Safebrew US-05 after 24 hrs
Specific gravity ~1,052
Procedure:
Sanitized everything with Star San. Boiled wort for 60 minutes and then cooled down with cooper coil cooler. Pitched yeast at 75F to conical fermenter.
Progress log:
Jul 23, 2012: No fermentation after 24 hrs. Sprinkled package od US-05.
