Recipe:

  • 8 lb Pilsner malt
  • 2 lb Munich Malt
  • 1.0 oz hop pellets (Hallertauer, 5.0% alpha) 60 min
  • 1.0 oz hop pellets (Hallertauer, 5.0% alpha) 10 min)
  • 51 g melanoidin malt
  • Safeale S-04 Dry Yeast
  • Specific gravity 1,036

Procedure:

Progress log:

  • Feb 26, 2012 - buble every 5 seconds in the morning.
  • Mar 03, 2012 - racked to secondary, light color and very clean.
  • Mar 10, 2012 - kegged, very Helles with German hop aroma.

Evaluation:

  • Feb 2x, 2011 taste at racking to secondary:.....
